Hey, I’m Theo.
I’m a website designer based in Staffordshire. I’ve spent years building and running websites of my own, and now I use that experience to help businesses build a professional presence online.
I learned to build websites because I needed them myself.
I’ve been building things online since I was a teenager. It started with YouTube, where creating my own content gradually pushed me into learning more and more of the skills behind running something online.
Eventually I wanted somewhere of my own to publish content, so I started learning WordPress and website design. At the beginning I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I learned through courses, tutorials, plenty of mistakes and, most importantly, actually building websites.
Those websites became real projects of my own. I learned how to structure them, make them easy to use, get them working properly on mobile and turn an idea into something that actually looked professional online.
Then something I hadn’t really planned for started happening. Other people began asking me to build websites for them. I initially helped people for free while I was learning, before people started asking if they could pay me to do it.
That’s ultimately how I ended up here. What started as learning how to build websites for my own projects became something I genuinely enjoyed doing for other businesses too.
Creating Online
Years of making my own content introduced me to building and running things on the internet.
Learning WordPress
I taught myself how to build websites because my own projects needed somewhere to live.
Building Real Websites
One website became several, giving me years of hands-on experience building and managing them.
Building For Others
People started asking me to build their websites too, turning a skill into a business.
I don’t just build websites. I’ve spent years running them.
I know how overwhelming building a website can feel when it isn’t your world. That’s why I try to make the whole process as simple as possible.
Your website shouldn’t be complicated.
Most of the businesses I work with aren’t interested in becoming website experts. They just want a professional website and someone they can trust to sort it. That’s how I try to make the whole process feel.
You Deal Directly With Me
No account managers or being passed between different people. You’ll speak directly to me from our first conversation through to your finished website.
I Keep Things Simple
You don’t need to understand WordPress, hosting or any of the technical stuff. I’ll explain what I need from you and take care of the rest.
Your Feedback Matters
I’ll show you the website before anything goes live. Tell me what you love, what you don’t and what you’d like changed. I want you to be happy with the result.
I Take Care Of The Details
From making sure everything looks right on mobile to getting the website online, I’ll take care of the details so you don’t have to worry about them.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need. Tell me a little about your business and what you’d like your website to do, and we can work it out from there.
There’s more to me than websites.
I’m based in the Staffordshire countryside with my family. Becoming a dad has made building a career that gives me freedom over my time more important to me than ever.
Outside of work I’m a massive nerd. I play far too much World of Warcraft, paint tiny plastic soldiers, love films and books, and I’m always finding some new rabbit hole to disappear down.
I also love travelling and seeing new places, although these days I’m just as happy spending time at home with my family.
Let’s grab a coffee.
If you’re local and you’d like to chat about your business, get in touch and let’s book in a time to meet at a local coffee shop. We can have a coffee, talk through what you’re working on and see if there’s anything I could help with.
